Fiestas de Santa Fe - Sante Fe, NM
Held throughout the streets of Santa Fe beginning in early September each fall. The Fiesta is highlighted by a Nightlight Parade, the Burning of Zozobra, a Carnival, Crowning of a Santa Fe Fiesta Queen, the Grand Baile (Fiesta Ball), Mass of Thanksgiving with a Candlelight Procession and a continuous flow of other events and traditions.

60th Anniversary Navajo Nation Fair - Window Rock, AZ
The Navajo Nation Fair was started in 1946 to stimulate livestock improvements and management, with exhibits for the Navajo people to sell their arts and crafts. The Navajo Nation Fair has become an event that showcases’ Navajo rodeo, foods, agriculture, arts and crafts, with the promotion and preservation of the Navajo heritage through cultural entertainment.
The Navajo Nation Fair is the biggest Indian fair and rodeo in the United States, with about 60,000 Navajo fair visitors each year. There are a total of twenty-six (26) events that span over a week during the Navajo Nation Fair and Rodeo. They are:

World Peace Conference - Santa Fe, NM
The conference will focus on the restoration of peace in the world through sustainability. New Mexico is strongly supporting such a development of sustainable energy alternatives and will highlight the connection between access to energy sources in developing third world countries and the creation of a climate of peace in the World. We are hoping to have Nobel Peace Laureates as well as many other world leaders, industry leaders, Tribal leaders and the legislators from New Mexico as well as young people who have been studying the connection between environmental sustainability and the peace process.

95th Annual Shiprock Navajo Fair - Shiprock, NM
During the fall in Navajo Land, the Navajo people of the Four Corners come to celebrate the year's harvest with a community celebration. The Shiprock Navajo Fair offers a variety of events including arts and crafts, exhibits of horticulture, science, agriculture and livestock. The Miss Northern Navajo competition, a baby contest, concerts to comedians, song and dance competitions. Food concessionaires, a carnival and of course the SNF Parade through the main street of Shiprock. The Shiprock Navajo Fair is held to coincide with the conclusion of an ancient Navajo healing ceremony. The Night Way, a nine-day chant is commonly called "Ye'ii'-Bi-Chei". This is a very complex and detailed ritual and usually is held after the first frost. The public is welcome to view parts of the ceremony during the fair.
