Miss Rodeo Missouri Pageant - St. Robert, MO
Contestants will compete for the titles of Miss Rodeo Missouri and Miss Teen Rodeo Missouri. This competition is open to any one who meets the age qualifications and has a horse. This is a preliminary pageant to the Miss Rodeo America pageant held in Las Vegas in December.

September 7-9
73rd Annual St. James Grape and Fall Festival - St. James, MO
The festival includes exhibits, a livestock show, demolition derby, street market, parade, wine garden, carnival, 5K run and 1-mile walk, grape stomp, talent show, ATV pull, softball and horseshoe tournaments and a queen pageant.

September 7-10
Sally Mountain Show Bluegrass Festival - Queen City, MO

Homeware Bound: O! The Joy!- Jefferson City, MO
Jefferson City commemorates the joyous return of the Lewis and Clark Expedition 200 years ago. The event focuses on the dedication of a “Corps of Discovery” monument depicting Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, George Drouillard, York and Seaman, the dog. Visit with the Discovery Expedition of St. Charles re-enactors, enjoy the St. Charles Fife and Drum Corps and view the dugout canoes and pirogue.

September 16
Pig Pickin' Chicken Lickin' Feast - Independence, MO
Features a meal of roast pork, fried chicken and all the trimmings on the grounds of the Bingham-Waggoner Estate. There will be live music by KC Banjo Band, a silent auction and home tours.
