Colorado Balloon Classic - Colorado Springs, CO
The Colorado Balloon Classic has grown to be the largest and the longest continuously running hot air balloon festival in the Rocky Mountain Region as well as the State of Colorado. The Colorado Balloon Classic is an annual family event - free to the public - held each Labor Day weekend. The event is held in Memorial Park off Pikes Peak Avenue between Hancock Ave. and Union Blvd near the shores of Prospect Lake. Mass ascensions of approximately 90 balloons are scheduled for Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings with a Balloon Glo® scheduled for Saturday and Sunday evenings. A variety of concessions are available, and entertainment is provided.

Pikes Peak Challenge - Manitou Springs, CO
The Pikes Peak Challenge is a unique fundraising event held annually in September that encourages registered participants to experience the excitement and success of hiking to the summit of Pikes Peak. Survivors of brain injury, family members and community supporters start their ascent up this magnificent 14,110-foot mountain at the base of Barr Trail in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Hikers crest the summit after 13.5 miles and 7400 vertical feet to the cheers of spectators and supporters.
